Application
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data, meaning data from which you, an individual, can be identified, directly or indirectly. It does not apply to anonymized or aggregated data that cannot be linked to an individual. We may generate anonymized and aggregated data (for example, marketplace and category trends) and use it for any lawful purpose.
This Policy sets a global standard for our processing activities. Where local laws are more restrictive, we comply with those local laws.
Responsibility for Data Control and Processing
Where personal data is collected and processed in connection with the Services, Sellmetric Pte Ltd is the entity responsible (the controller).
In some cases we act as a processor or service provider on behalf of a customer, for example when we run managed advertising, operate our agency platform for your clients, or process marketplace data on your instructions. In those cases the customer is the controller, and individuals should contact that customer directly to exercise their rights over that data.
We operate the Services from the United States, Singapore, and India, and store and process data through third-party cloud and IT providers located in or operating from these countries. Where we transfer personal data across borders, we apply appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
Information We Collect
Information you provide to us
Contact and account information such as name, email, phone, business name, job title, and billing address
Account credentials and authentication details
Payment and billing information, processed through our payment provider, Stripe
Information submitted through webforms, support tickets, sales and strategy calls, webinars, events, and other communications
Information we collect automatically
Technical data such as IP address, browser type, internet service provider, device identifiers, operating system, and referring/exit pages
Usage data about how you interact with our websites, Platform, and extension
Cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (see "Cookies" below)
Marketplace, advertising, and platform data. When you connect a marketplace or advertising account (such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, Walmart, Flipkart, Instacart, Lazada, Shopee, Google, Bing, Meta, or LinkedIn) to the Platform or APIs, we access and process data needed to deliver our research, advertising, optimization, profit, and reporting services. This may include:
Seller and advertiser account identifiers
Product identifiers (such as ASINs), listings, pricing, inventory, and catalog data
Sales, order, traffic, profitability, and performance metrics
Advertising campaign data, including spend, keywords, bids, and performance
Authentication tokens and credentials used to connect your accounts via official marketplace and advertising APIs
We access this data through authorized APIs and use it solely to provide the Services you request. For quick-commerce monitoring (Quantum) and competitive intelligence, we primarily process product, pricing, and ranking data rather than personal data.
Browser extension data. The "SellerApp: Supercharge your Amazon Sales" Chrome extension operates on Amazon domains (including *.amazon.com and regional Amazon marketplaces) to overlay product research, profitability, keyword, and ranking data. It accesses product data visible on Amazon pages (such as ASINs, titles, pricing, ratings, and category data) and search queries you enter while using its features. Uninstalling the extension stops all collection through it.

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including access controls, encryption in transit, and role-based permissions.
